On thursday, we rescued a NA Mastiff from a tragic situation. The owner obviously had fallen on hard times as the dog was very skinny and had cuts on his head from trying to escape a poorly made pen. It was obvious he hadn't eaten in a long time. He is now with us; safe, bathed, warm, loved and being fed the very best. He is 110% housebroken. Barks and whines very loudly to go outside. Same thing when crated. He has a super "soft mouth" and instantly lets go of chews or toy if you grab them. He gets along fine with our standard poodle and tiny chihuahua but wants to eat fluffy pomeranians. We are fostering him until we find the perfect home for him. Posted him in his halter are his 2 NOW photos in his very skinny state. The others are his 6 and 8 month old photos from the owner who did surrender his papers as well as those photos. Mostly Monsterpiece pedigree. We are located in Madison, MS. His name is Dexter Don and we love him. We wish he liked pomeranians. We will continue to fatten him up and love him until we find the perfect home for him. Maybe that is with one of you❤️🐾❤️
