The NAACP’s mission is to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate race-based discrimination. It is clear that the role of the NAACP, as the organization of change and social justice, is more critical than ever before. At this pivotal time in our history, we are proud to feature many activities to help highlight our efforts to lead, advance and advocate. The highlight of our Freedom Fund Celebration will feature in concert the Nashville African American Wind Symphony (NAAWS) NAAWS a world-class wind band ensemble that creates a vital cultural experience through the performance of exceptional music.
