Partner Yoga, Sound Bath & Reiki Experience in the Arts District of Downtown Kent, Ohio Join us for an incredible opportunity to connect with your significant other, sibling, parent, or friend. We’ll start with a partner yoga routine that is beginner friendly. No experience needed. Traditionally, yoga is an individual practice. It’s an opportunity to stretch, breathe, and focus on your mat in the present moment. However, jointly practicing yoga with another person, has its own unique benefits. The partner yoga practice allows two people to relate to one another through assisted poses. In order to construct the poses during partner yoga, you must rely and lean on your partner throughout (both literally and metaphorically) as well as constantly communicating verbally and nonverbally. This requires trust, support, playfulness and most importantly, vulnerability. Following partner yoga, you will be guided through meditation and into a relaxing sound bath with seven quartz crystal singing bowls, and reiki energy balancing and clearing. Each participant will receive several minutes of individual reiki healing during the sound bath. We cant wait to see you. *Please bring a yoga mat or blanket. Bring an additional blanket for comfort. *It is advised that you eat a light meal at least 2 hours prior to the event. However a dinner date AFTER is a wonderful option.
