Description

The Queen Anne's County Centre for the Arts invites you to participate in our 9th annual High Tea, which this year celebrates the life and works of author Agatha Christie. Agatha Christie was an English detective novelist and playwright. She wrote some 75 novels, including 66 detective novels and 14 short story collections. Christie is perhaps the world's most famous mystery writer and is one of the best-selling novelists of all time. Christie was responsible for the iconic and extremely popular Miss Marple and Hercule Poirot books. Our super sleuth tea will feature all your High Tea favorites, cucumber sandwiches, scaones, biscuits, brownies, and much much more. Not to mention the tea. All served in the most elegant of ways, of course, in fine china cups on lavishly laid tables. Tables are set for 8. Seating is limited. The afternoon tea will take place Saturday February 25th, 2020 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. Tickets are $45.00 per person. All proceeds benefit events, programs, and activities that promote the arts locally. For questions, or to book your tickets directly from QACAC, please call our office at 410-758-2520. We're here from 10 to 3 Monday through Friday and 10 to 2 on Saturdays. We can be reached by e-mail at [email protected] This tea takes place during our Small Works exhibition, where dozens and dozens of small artworks donated by artists are raffled off to benefit the Arts Council.
