Description

Does Russia’s war against Ukraine demonstrate a rise in instability and disillusionment from the Global ideas of peace and prosperity? Is the world near a precipice of turmoil and collapse into a state of war and conflict? What would peace across Europe even look like? Can these questions help leaders across the world solve problems across the international community? With all proceeds donated to Ukrainian refugees, please join us as we come together to ask these questions. Our key-note speaker, Dr. Steven Pinker will delve into the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and its potential impact on global peace. Joining him on the night’s panel includes Natasha Dukach, CEO of the Cash for Refugees project, who has dedicated her time and efforts to supporting Ukrainian refugees fleeing from cities turned into ash and rubble. As well as Sabastian Mandell, former US Army Green Beret and Harvard student who withdrew from college to provide medical support and training at the start of the war and remained there for 6 months. Join us as we discuss the current state of peace and the action we can take to make a difference in these unprecedented times. *** Steven Pinker is a renowned cognitive scientist, linguist, and author known for his work in the field of language and mind, as well as his popular science books on the topic of human behavior and evolutionary psychology.
