This is event is for any educator - whether a teacher, homeschool parent, or school admin - who wants to see youth thrive. Join us in New Bedford for a hands-on workshop to learn how to connect youth and students to growing STEAM career options. STEAM the Streets' new App bridges the gap between high demand career options in STEAM and today's youth with culturally relevant media. At this workshop, you will: Get exclusive access to the App, media, and educator lesson planLearn how to use the STEAM tool for your classroom or organizationExplore the importance of STEAM education and how to demystify STEAM career pathsNetwork with fellow STEAM educatorsMeet the creators of the AppLunch will be provided. This new career tool is mobile friendly, designed for students ages 13 and up, and free to use. Currently in the pilot phase, our goal is to expand to form a nation-wide community, connecting students with mentors in STEAM careers.
