The University of Louisville Health Sciences Center invites ALL high school, undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students who have an interest in the health sciences to attend their 9th annual Pre-Health Symposium. This is the perfect opportunity for students who have an interest in dentistry, medicine, nursing, public health and other allied health careers to learn about our schools and the admissions process. ALL are welcome to attend.
Dr. Trinidad Jackson from the UofL School of Public Health and Information Sciences will be our keynote speaker.
This program will begin at 8:30am on Saturday, February 11th, 2023, and end at approximately 1pm. Lunch will be provided.
The Pre-Health Symposium will take place at the UofL Clinical and Translational Research Building (CTR) in rooms 101/102 at 505 S. Hancock St. Street metered parking is available on S. Hancock St, or paid parking is also available in the HSC 620 garage. Some free street parking can also be found on E. Muhammad Ali Blvd near the CTR building.
This event is organized by the Multicultural Association of Pre-Health Students (MAPS); Student National Medical Association (SNMA); Student National Dental Association (SNDA); Black Student Nurses Association (BSNA); Commission on Diversity and Racial Equality (CODRE); Health Sciences Center Office of Diversity and Inclusion; School of Medicine - Office of Community Engagement and Diversity, and; the School of Medicine - Office of Medical Student Affairs, Student Success Coordinator.
