Please join us for a community forum to kickoff Rose Valley’s Next 100 Campaign, borough-wide initiative to connect and support the people, places, and environment of Rose Valley. This year, to celebrate our centennial, the Rose Valley EAC and Borough Council will be collaborating with residents and borough organizations to envision Rose Valley’s next 100 years. Through a series of educational events and community forums, we will learn about the biggest opportunities to strengthen our community and align our lifestyle with the needs of the environment. We also will identify both individual and borough-wide sustainability goals and start developing viable, sustainable practices to help all Rose Valley stakeholders craft a community that can thrive for another 100 years to come. At our kick-off event, we will discuss the connection with nature on which Rose Valley was founded and the broad environmental topics we will be learning about this year. We will preview a few of the events we have planned for the year, then open up the meeting to a community forum where residents will share their environmental concerns and ideas, as well as their vision for our Borough. We will end with a chance to choose sustainability-focused actions you can implement at home, as well as some to work on together as a community. The forum will take place in the Grace Auditorium at The School in Rose Valley. Attendance is free, but we do ask that you please register. Zoom participation will be available for those who cannot attend in person. The link will be sent to those who RSVP. When joining by Zoom, feel free to join late, step away, or leave early as needed.
