Denisa’s journey in fashion began during her childhood, influenced and inspired by her mother, a costume designer. She grew up around runway shows, showrooms, fashion TV broadcasts from the catwalks, studying the work of world-renowned designers, fashion journalists and editors. Early in her career, Denisa worked for five years as a television anchor in her home country (Czechoslovakia), writing content and moderating TV talk shows and live broadcasts with the scope of entertainment, including fashion. Discovered by a Conde Nast photographer during Miami Fashion Week in 2013 as a ‘street style’ personality, Denisa was sent to global fashion weeks from New York to Paris, where cameras turned to her, capturing her signature style. Denisa was regularly making headlines in numerous fashion publications around the world (VOGUE, Harper’s BAZAAR, ELLE, W Magazine, L’OFFICIEL, GRAZIA, Glamour, In Style, Woman’s Wear Daily, Daily Front Row, The Cut, New York Times, New York Post, Le Figaro, Hola and more) as well as appearing on global television networks (Fashion TV, E-News, TV5 Paris and others). Approached by fashion brands for collaborations, Denisa continued on as an influencer and a stylist, becoming a front row regular at fashion weeks and a go-to industry insider. After the launch of VOGUE Czechoslovakia, in late 2018 Denisa initiated collaboration with the publication as a contributor based in U.S., spanning to early 2022. In 2021 she expanded her fashion content contributions to the network of American luxury lifestyle publications Modern Luxury and Lifestyles Magazines, presently acting as Fashion Director, editor, stylist and writer, of the latter. Denisa directed fashion editorials, ranging from womenswear, menswear, luxury swimwear and high jewelry to special celebrity features, working with prominent global fashion and luxury lifestyle brands, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Cavalli, DSQUARED2, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Dior, Schiaparelli, Michael Kors, DVF, Tory Burch, Oscar De la Renta, Carolina Herrera, Zimmermann, or Alexandre Birman, to name a few ~ and interviewed world renowned fashion designers and A-list celebrities, for fashion publications and TV channels. Denisa is an Advisory Board member to the Marangoni Fashion Institute in Miami, where she also serves as a Styling Mentor for the students of the Fashion Design. In 2022 Denisa made her return to television, as a fashion correspondent to several TV networks.
