PCHE campus risk and safety leaders will be convening to discuss establishing a Global Intelligence Committee. This committee would allow emergency services and global risk professionals across our institutions of higher education, along with our regional law enforcement partners, to expand our knowledge of international situations. Benefits would include:
Becoming familiar with new ‘lingo' and concepts associated with illustrating the functions of global situations. Facilitating the ability to identify the caliber of effects on our campus populations that are directly linked to global situations. Sharing information to prepare us to pinpoint suspicious trends on our campuses. Promoting a collaborative approach on mitigating those trends when necessary. Protecting our campus populations from unanticipated third-party contacts and safeguard Constitutional rights. We look forward to seeing you on February 20, 2022. If you have any further questions please contact Leo Di Cesare, M.S., Director of Global Risk, Health, Safety, and Security, University Center for International Studies, University of Pittsburgh at [email protected] .
