Rehoming my Sweet Dog Remi

Description

Hello, The reason I am posting is because I have to rehome my dog Remi. My living situation has changed and my landlord/homeowner is requiring me to rehome him. I love him dearly and only want the best for him and to find him a great home. He was originally a transfer from Texas. He had a little bit of a limp in the beginning from being shot by a shotgun prior to transfer. The limp has subsided and he does not have any long term medical issues from the gunshot wound. He does have a lot of buckshot in his pelvis and hand legs though. He is extremely playful in nature and loves all toys. He is also very smart, knows sit, shake, down, rollover, and kennel. He is kennel trained and very good in the car. He can be wary of some new people, usually men, but warms up quick. It helps to have toys or treats to warm up. He has been great with kids, lives with a cat, and lived with a small older dog. He is up to date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped. I will provide 6 months of heartworm prevention, his toys, bed, and the rest of his food. There is a rehoming fee so I know you are serious about adopting Remi and will put the time and effort in caring for him. He ideally should go to someone with fenced in yard to run. He is a mixed breed, about 85 lbs and 6 years old. I don’t want him to sit in a kennel at a shelter. I love him very much and wouldn’t be rehoming him if I had a choice. Please reply with a little bit about yourself and household. Thank you
