We are a small local company looking for part time dog walkers and pet sitters in Ridgely/Denton, Centreville, Queenstown, Cordova and Easton.​​ We're looking for warm people who share our passion for pets and obsession for amazing customer service. If you are excited about spending time loving on pets, spending time outside, and providing high quality care then this kind of position is perfect for you! The following is what we look for in a team member: Be 100% reliable Have a working smartphone and reliable transportation Be an excellent communicator with both management and clients Have the ability to work independently with little supervision Attention to detail--every pet is different and every pet parent has specific instructions. Being able to understand directions and get things right every time is super important! The ability to work and drive in all types of weather. Dogs have to go whether it's 90 degrees or 9 degrees Availability on major holidays. You will be paid extra on holidays. *Dog Walker position description: Must be available to walk dogs, Monday through Friday between the hours of 11 AM & 3:00 PM. The number of dogs you’ll walk on any given day will vary based upon the clients’ schedules. You must be available all of these days and all of these hours. We will not be able to consider those who are only available a few days per week or for only certain hours of the 11AM-3PM time block. This is a physical job. It requires the ability to walk multiple miles a day, to work with high energy dogs, and to also walk up to 3 dogs of the same family at a time. If the idea of walking a 90 pound sweet but energetic dog sounds like a lovely afternoon for you (which it does to us!) then chances are this job is a great fit for you.
