Seeking Fiddles, Guitars, Banjos & Mandolins for Folk, Old Time, Bluegrass & Vintage Country. The Long Bay Folk Society is always seeking mandolin, guitar, banjo, fiddle and upright bass players of all levels to join our monthly jam. Come join a rag-tag mix of Old-Time Folk Nerds playing a varied repertoire of fiddle tunes, old time, bluegrass breakdowns, old country, jigs, reels, hornpipes, train songs, murder ballads, hillbilly boogie, swing, Appalachia, sweet waltzes, Americana ballads, Civil War, campfire and folk songs. We usually meet the second Sunday of the month somewhere in the Murrells Inlet Area. We are a low key group of amateur players - all levels are welcome. Open to other stringed acoustic instruments.
