I started a successful gigging (four years) Journey tribute band in Dallas. We will consider any age for the right person. Band 1: Peter Frampton Tribute Band (one set) Band 2: Mixture of classic rock, alternative rock, and country rock band (one set to start) As this will be a 3 piece band to start, we really want somebody who can sing harmonies very well. You should be not only a skilled musician as a bass player, but also very comfortable with learning, retaining and singing backup harmonies. Lead vocal ability would be desirable and a welcome addition, but not mandatory. The ideal person: - will be comfortable putting on a show - this means some stage moves and willingness to dress in appropriate attire - is serious about his or her craft, yet is doing this for fun not just for pay - has some audio/video media they can send us - is dedicated and committed We plan to play non club venues to avoid the super late night events - this means festivals, outdoor events, other events, etc., and no more than about once per month. If this takes off well, we will consider adding other members. We have large rehearsal space at my house. We look forward to your response!! thank you!
