Hello there, My name is Diana and my vision as a Montessori Early Childhood Teacher is to offer an excellent educational environment, full of high-quality works, where children can develop order, concentration, and coordination - to achieve the independence that they require to succeed. I encourage creativity and inspire personal growth in children through hands on activities, and I facilitate the learning process by utilizing age-appropriate lessons. My teaching objectives are to assist children to advance their intellectual, social, physical and emotional growth and teaching philosophy is to guide the child and let them realize their own successes. I have 16 years of teaching experience, with lead teacher experience in Montessori classrooms in Ithaca, New York and Boulder, Colorado. I am a passionate, patient, happy, flexible, and attentive teacher who loves working with children. I believe in a routine, so the child knows what is happening next and they are prepared for activities in the learning environment and the outdoors. I am bilingual, I have outdoor recreation teaching experience, and I am quick to respond to work related communications.
