MR2 is an idea a few of my friends and I thought of trying. It'll be what's considered outlaw or Americana music dating back from the 70's to around 2005 or so. Willy, Merle, Jamey Johnson, Paycheck, David Allen Coe and guys like that. I've worked with some local bands and I can tell you I'm not looking for Cimarron, Jesse Wade, Scott Marshal or Harlan Tucker, they were cool but not what I was looking for.. Anyway, if your interested send me a video of you playing using an iPhone live. No Studio stuff because those guycompensate for raw abilities. Might work, might not but there's only one way to find out. THe name is the name for this project, anyone from the south get what MR2 means so that's not up for debate. Interested? let me know......or not. We all got nothing to loose. Drugs and booze are cool to a point, I understand we all need a way to tone down but it can't interfere with you playing. I need older dudes or dudettes, no younger than 55 unless we find a child prodigy who is eclectic enough to fit it with a buch of over the hill geezers. No gigs, just yet, not promises, if you think you know who I am don't bother, we couldn't make it happen then and probably can not now. Gotta be some guys I don't know out there like me though, let's see. I'm running out of time :) I can send my material on request. Band Apperel is what ever they gave you when you got out of prison.
