Rock Your MessagingProven strategies from the BOK Center management team Tulsa’s BOK Center plays host to a variety of events and audiences. Reaching these groups takes targeted messaging and specific strategies to produce successful outcomes. Communication experts from ASM Global, the venue management company that produces events at the BOK Center as well as the Cox Business Convention Center, will join us to discuss how they consistently hit the mark with: External communications to a variety of audiences Client messaging and relationship building Community engagement Join us for a panel discussion to learn how they meet those goals and insights to apply these concepts to your own communication plans. Participants include: Meghan Blood, Director of Marketing – Meghan has been with ASM Tulsa for more than nine years and previously served as a media buyer at Brothers & Co. She earned a B.A. in Advertising from OU and was recognized in the International Association of Venue Managers Foundation’s 30 under 30 class of 2016. Evan Falat, Senior Assistant General Manager – Evan is in his 12th year with ASM Tulsa and helps oversee all business and operational aspects of BOK Center and Cox Business Convention. Evan also serves as Director of Business Development. During his time with ASM he has helped orchestrate tremendous growth in the Business Development department – including the naming rights sale at the Tulsa Convention Center to become Cox Business Convention Center, the construction of 10 new suites, two new lounges, and the renovation of the ONEOK Club at BOK Center. Evan also served as Interim General Manager for the facilities for 11 months guiding the staff during the COVID-19 pandemic. He earned a double major in sports management and social sciences from Liberty University. Evon Markum, Community Relations Manager – Evon joined the ASM Tulsa team in August of 2022 after almost 20 years in community development for First National Bank/First Bank of Texas. In this role, Evon focuses on expanding access and engagement for all Tulsans through the ASM Global Acts platform. Evon has served in many nonprofit roles including 13 years on a Congressional Hispanic Advisory Council and 16 years as the Volunteer Coordinator of the Parker County Health Foundation “Pink Luncheon.”
