Slow Food Utah invites you to take a peak behind the counter at Beltex Fine Meats. Owner and lead butcher Philip Grubisa embraces old world traditions and a nose-to-tail philosophy in his cuts, charcuterie and special products.
As a Snail of Approval awardee, Beltex embodies the Slow Food values of good, clean and fair food, supporting local producers and ranchers raising heritage breeds. Beehive Cheese, another Snail of Approval awardee, will also be there! Tastings and bites will be provided. Join us for a special and tasty afternoon, and learn just how important the relationship between the producer and the chef is to the Slow Food movement.
