Leaving this workshop students will have a basic understanding of cutting, measuring, pasting, and sewing which are the fundamentals for bookbinding. The workshop will include step-by-step demonstration, with simple follow-along instructions, focusing on fun, creative styles of books to create. This event is geared for adults and made possible with funding from the Camden County Cultural & Heritage Commission at Camden County College, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. About the artist Michael Donovan is a draftsman, photographer, and craftsman based in Philadelphia, PA. He brings an impressive list of exhibition experience, exhibiting with such organizations as Blk Art House and Philadelphia Sketch Club.
