If you’re looking for a composting method that doesn’t take up a lot of space and can provide fertilizer for your plants while cutting down on food waste, look no further than Vermicomposting! More commonly referred to as worm composting. Come join us for a DIY class where you’ll make your own worm composting bin and learn how to turn your food scraps into compost! We'll discuss the benefits of worm bins, what to feed them, what not to feed them, what kind of worms to get, and how to use the casings. Cost of supplies is $20, not including worms. You must register ahead of time to take home a worm bin, as we will be purchasing supplies. Special thanks to the Sustainable University of Redlands Farm (SURF) for hosting this event!
