History and Architecture buffs ! Join me for this special event walking tour of the Market Street Mansions and Carolina Place Historic Districts, 3 of Wilmington's "other" historic districts. The tour features Wilmington National Cemetery, the Mansions at Market and 17-18th and a loop through Carolina Place, founded as Wilmington's middle class suburb at the turn of the 20th century, a neighborhood of craftsman and bungalow homes ending with a stroll through Wallace Park and a few blocks in Brookwood, Wilmington's newest historic district. Walk the era circa 1900 - 1950s Wilmington, our time as a World War boomtown.
