Tet is the Vietnamese equivalent of celebrating New Year, filled with cultural wear, food, and ceremonies. Our event will start off with tabling in the EUC Pre-Auditorium with other multicultural student organizations on display. These student organizations will be showcasing how they celebrate New Year or any traditional celebrations that are popular in their culture. We also plan on inviting a local, nonprofit organization called, Children of Vietnam to the table and bring awareness to the goals of their organization because we have been working with them as our philanthropy. The performances will consist of traditional and modern dances, singing, spoken words, and a skit. We are inviting the other student organizations to participate as well and to be included in our closing performance which will include a fashion show to showcase some traditional outfits.
