For our 2023 Project Worldwide event, the Texas Exes San Antonio Chapter will be completing a service project at Good Samaritan Community Services. Good Samaritan Community Services (Good Sam) serves as a catalyst for change, supporting youth, individuals and families by providing excellent community services to overcome economic poverty. You can learn more at https://goodsamaritancommunityservices.org. Please join us from 9 am - noon for outdoor projects, including painting, at Good Samaritan located at 1600 Saltillo Street. Make sure to wear OLD clothes and shoes you don't mind getting paint on (burnt orange always preferred). We recommend checking the weather to ensure you are dressed for the temperature and wind. Project Worldwide is an international service initiative created through a partnership between the Texas Exes and the Department of Diversity and Community Engagement. Project Worldwide takes place in the month of February in conjunction with The Project, The University of Texas at Austin’s largest day of service, which takes place the last Saturday of February every year. By teaming up, the DDCE and the Texas Exes have extended community service throughout the month of February and around the globe.
