Mississippi Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center & ELITE Physical Therapy Athletic Training Staff will be hosting several workshops for students interested in becoming a sports medicine professional. Our meetings are a great opportunity for students to begin their college résumé and gain knowledge to fine tune their career path. The workshops will be held once a month during the spring semester with the first workshop taking place on Saturday, January 28. We will discuss the profession of athletic training, basic medical terminology, and assessment skills. Location: The Therapy Center - 5 Star Performance Center - Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center Time: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Stations: 1) Common Injuries in Athletic Training 2) Knee Injuries 3) Elbow/Shoulder Injuries 4) Concussions 5) Hydration & Heat Illness
