WELDING 101 - 6 Hour StudyLearn how to join pieces of metal through the different types of welding! This course will offer an overview of different welding processes emphasizing sound welds with sufficient penetration. Participants are encouraged to bring their own ideas and aesthetics.  Creative guidance will focus on the creation of table top, garden and yard art with scrap metal.  Limited metal will be supplied. Unless specific in the description of the course, participants are encouraged to discuss individual projects with staff to ensure proper materials are obtained. Additional materials and fees will be the participant's responsibility. Ages: 16+ Available dates & times Valentine Candlesticks: Crash Course Blacksmithing meets MIG Welding with Kris Graper Sunday, February 12- 10 a.m. - 4 p.mThis introductory class will focus on the safety and working basics of fabricating with metal, forges, anvils, MIG welders, and other metalworking tools. Participants will learn how to prep material as well as design, forge, fabricate, and finish individual candle sticks. Because of the short duration of this workshop, participants will work with a limited, but ample selection of materials that will be included with the class fee.
