This year is a little different! We will have longer meet times, a new special event and drive route 129 “the tail of the dragon”. Special Event: Great Smoky Mountains Railroad historic train, book your adventure at: https://www.gsmr.com/ Attendance was so great last year (91 Elements!) we expect a large turnout again this year (lets hit 100!!!). Itinerary: Staging will begin at 9 am at Ingles Markets: 19/23 Hughes Branch Rd, Bryson City, NC 28713 Morning brief 9:30am 10-15 car groups leave every 1/2 hour at 10am Train leaves at 10:30am-3:00pm Returning train group leave at 3:30pm for drive Social time 9-4 (go to campground after 4) Train group(s) arrive back at Bryson City at 7ish Dinner/party begins at campground at 7 Raffle 8:15pm You can do the train and the tail of the dragon! Train first then drive the dragon. Dinner is available from the campground at 7pm. There will also be an awesome party that everyone is invited to, after dinner! Join the beverage swap and bring a 6 pack from your local brewery to share with others! This is a pet friendly event, but we insist pets be leashed and supervised at all times. This area is at elevation, with many twists and turns along the route. Keep this in mind when deciding to bring your fur babies. The campground is pet friendly. Bring your RV, they have full hookups. Most people come in Thursday/Friday and leave Sunday/Monday. Looking forward to seeing everyone again this year!
