Tai Chi & Qigong are both an ancient art and a simple exercise that incorporates slow movements, relaxed alignment, and slow deep breathing. Commonly referred to as the Form, these postures that are linked together improve one's balance, keep the joints healthy, focus the mind, and increase the energy in the body.
Qigong shares many principles with Tai Chi. However, it is done in place with the intention to move Chi and heal the body, oftentimes with meditations such as The Inner Smile, Standing Firm on the Earth, Healing Sounds, and Microcosmic Orbit.
Beginners are welcome to join in on the relaxation and fun!The 8 week series will begin on Feb 4th with no class Feb 25th.
