Learn about Single Malt Scotch Whiskies and Premium Blends while sampling whiskies from various regions of Scotland. The tasting includes 5 whiskeys (to be announced), dinner, live Celtic music and a souvenir Glencairn Glass. A presentation of each scotch, and their fascinating histories, will be given by our resident whiskey sommelier, William Murray. Dinner will be provided by the White Horse Inn. The original White Horse building was developed in 1848 by Daniel Ammerman, who used it as a general store in the small village of Metamora. Two years later, it was purchased by Lorenzo Hoard, who turned it into an inn and stagecoach stop known as the Hoard House, which charged 50 cents for overnight guests.
