AHirePower, a full-service staffing agency specializing in convention and event staff, is looking for 5 people to work the NADA (National Auto Dealers Association) Conference at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center with dates ranging from January 23rd through the 28th. We have 3 schedules available. 1. Convention Office Assistant - This position will be working for the meeting planners and helping to support their onsite administrative needs. We need someone VERY professional and experienced in supporting a fast paced environment. Schedule is from the 23rd through the 28th. Previous convention experience is a strong plus. 2. Bilingual Clerk - This is a 19 hour schedule on the 27th and 28th. Will be providing assistance in the International Lounge. Can be combined with position #3 for additional hours. 3. Welcome Reception Registration Support - 26th from 4:30pm to 8:30pm. Position will actually be off site at a popular "bar" close to the convention center. Parking reimbursement will be available. You will be paid for your lunch break. AND the pay is $20.00/hr. Would you like to get on board? In addition, you can let us know the dates you are available and pick the positions in which you would be most interested. After we receive your response, we will call you for a phone interview. Candidates that demonstrate a friendly, capable, customer service focused personality will then be sent the hiring documents to complete electronically. All candidates must have the legal right to work in the US and appropriate ID will be required for eVerify. Once the hiring documents have been received, you will receive your schedule and you are guaranteed a spot! The dress code will be professional black pants, a professional white button up shirt, and black comfortable shoes. We have another event in February and all qualified candidates will be given first pick of those schedules as well.
