"Just Play The Hits" Ever listen to a local band and wonder why they play so much back-catalog or obscure material? Or otherwise not playing anything that the other patrons want to hear/want to dance to? We're looking for like-minded, talented, experienced musicians to start a Pop/Country/Classic Rock Variety hits band. Charts like "Tennessee Whiskey" by Chris Stapleton, "Don't Start Now" by Dua Lipa, "Man, I Feel Like a Woman" by Shania Twain, "Listen to the Music" by The Doobie Brothers, "Shut Up and Dance" by Walk The Moon", "Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey, "5 O' Clock Somewhere" by Alan Jackson, etc... The point of this kind of variety and focus is to help patrons of *any age* have a good time, to feel comfortable dancing and feel comfortable to enjoy themselves, and to order more drinks from the venue: All so that we will get the call back and other local competition will be left in the dust. Our goal is to serve the patrons and serve the venue, *not* to serve our own ego or to push our original music. We're interested in musicians familiar with and comfortable working in a modern, professional-level environment and the expectations that go along with such an environment. For some examples: being comfortable with In-Ear-Monitoring, the Nashville Number System, playing without music/charts or music stands, familiarity with click/cue and backing tracks, part-based performance, and good stage presence.
