Attend this class to learn the concepts necessary to be successful on the river in winter months and beyond. Class highlights will include: fishing and equipment river wading safety and proper gear setups suspension fishing with indicators as well as tightline contact nymphing without participants will be able to practice tying the knots and rigging the setups used in winter fly fishing with help from the instructor. A presentation and handout will be given to highlight all the gear and techniques needed for winter angling All equipment demonstrated will be available for rent or purchase in store This is NOT an Ice Fishing class, covers only open water Fly Fishing techniques in a winter scenario. Choose one of 3 classes in February Friday 3rd 2pm - 4 pm Monday 13th 1 pm - 3 pm Saturday 25 11 AM - 1 PM Class Location: Cutthroat Fly Shop 19 N. 1st Street, Dubois, WY Instructor: Robert Betts is a co-owner & guide at Cutthroat Fly Shop in Dubois, WY. He grew up in Dubois on the Absaroka Ranch west of town. Robert began Fly Fishing at age 6 & guiding fly fishing at age 15. He fishes & guides the Wind River year-round.
