Join us for food, live music, and a night of celebration recognizing the value of community service in honor of Dr. Claudia Thomas. The Lakewood Multicultural Coalition is a local nonprofit designed to provide voice to all people and communities through celebration, empowerment and inclusion. Dr. Claudia Thomas was a local hero who left a legacy of service in local government, education, and youth advocacy. The emcee will be Joyce Taylor, an award winning news anchor from King5 Evening News. The event's guest speaker is Lisa Boyd, the daughter of Dr. Claudia Thomas.
