The Volusia/Flagler Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) will welcome Kaitlyn Stier, Regional Event Director at LOCALiQ - In partnership with USA TODAY NETWORK as the guest speaker at their February professional development luncheon. This meeting will be held on Thursday, February 16 at 11:30 a.m. in the Dennis McGee Room at the Daytona Beach International Airport. Kaitlyn Stier is the Regional Event Director at LOCALiQ - In partnership with USA TODAY NETWORK. Her role empowers communities to connect and thrive through events and promotions. Her presentation will focus on event planning and securing sponsorships for events as well as the struggles of planning events in a post-Covid world. Stier joined the Daytona Beach News-Journal in 2016 and has since expanded her role to three Florida GANNETT markets. She manages events from concept to execution for The Daytona Beach News-Journal (Daytona), Florida Times-Union (Jacksonville), and Florida Today (Brevard). Register by noon on February 13 at fpravf.org. Lunch is included in the cost of $30 for members, $40 for non-members, and $15 for students. Walk-ins are accepted for a $5 additional surcharge.
