Jack & Jill of America Incorporated, Suffolk County Chapter presents our 2023 Black History Month HBCU Homecoming Classic. Featuring career panels, college admissions information, Marching Band, Step show, Double Dutch, Soul food & more! Our inaugural event is taking place on Saturday February 25, 2023 at Brentwood High School in Suffolk County, on Long Island, New York. The daylong event will feature an array of engaging learning experiences for children of all ages, into young adulthood. The event will run from 9am to 5pm, and will feature panels and speakers on career topics in education, medicine, government, law, business, entrepreneurship, arts and fashion. The afternoon portion of the event will feature an HBCU exhibit where we are inviting up to 40 colleges and universities to talk to K-12 students about collegiate life at a historically Black institution. The HBCU Expo portion will run from 3:30pm - 5pm.
