Description
The Nidra Cacao series is a full experience designed to open you up, and help release blockages in the heart that allow you to uncover parts of yourself that may be hidden. The experience begins with pranayama (breath work) designed to unlock the prana in your body, followed by a short yoga flow to get the energy moving, the cacao to open you up, and the Nidra allows your mind to take a backseat while your conscious explores what is beneath the mind. What is Yoga Nidra? Yoga Nidra is a sleep-based meditation. It is designed to take you behind the mind, deep into the consciousness. In this state, your body and mind will be at rest, and your consciousness will be alert and aware. It can help you step out of the story in your mind and enter "witness consciousness," to release the stress and trauma without resistance so you can heal. What is Cacao? Ceremonial grade Cacao is different from the cacao that you may use in your dessert recipes. Cacao is a plant medicine that has been used in ceremonial practices by the Mayans, Aztecs, and other Central American cultures. As with all plant medicines cacao allows for deep introspection and clearer intuitive guidance; though Cacao is not a psychedelic, it is an important tool used in shamanic journeys, and accelerating deep inner transformation and emotional release. What Can I Expect at a Cacao Ceremony? You can expect a safe, nourishing environment for you to connect with yourself, the spirit of Cacao, and other people in deeper ways than one can usually access when alone. Cacao increases the energetic field of our hearts, and when we join together, the field is amplified and intertwined together with all the hearts in the room. By allowing yourself to take part in a ceremonial experience with others, you allow yourself to obtain "medicine" from others through their release. In this sense, Cacao is medicine for your mind, body, and soul, through the spirit of connection. Benefits of Ceremonial Cacao Cacao ceremonies are great for gaining clarity, doing inner work and processing, and releasing deep emotional traumas with greater ease. For instance, if you have had some trouble releasing a past relationship, or grief of losing a loved one, Cacao can help move things along in a gentle, yet transformational way. Also, if you have felt a block when it comes to what you should be doing with your life, cacao can help you connect with your purpose. The peace you feel with Cacao will help you release these burdens and stresses from your everyday life; and you will become aware of things that have been keeping you from living the life you love.
