Whew, it's been a winter in California!! Our basecamp in Midpines, CA, (nearish Yosemite) is majorly recovering from the floods that hit the area pretty hard. We also need to build up "weatherports" so that our staff can sleep somewhere cozy in between expeditions. See the image above for what a weatherport is, but it's basically like yurt without the roundness. We need help to get this place sleek and shiny and we're looking for volunteers! Plus, we're building back our community and we'd love to have you there! WEEKEND OVERVIEW Friday, April 21st: Arrive at Midpines, our High Sierra basecamp. Hang out, have dinner together. Set up sleeping arrangements. Saturday April 22nd: Service Day - Build weatherports (no experience necessary!), Various basecamp tasks Sunday, April 23rd: Breakfast, hang out, depart
