Clay Page’s music is definitely the ‘sound of the deep south’. With influences ranging from Hank Williams, Sr. to The Allman Brothers, his songs encompass a throwback to traditional country as well as to southern rock, soul and blues. He’s been recording demos on his home computers since the age of 14, shortly before his ever-growing career as a performing artist and songwriter started with winning his hometown’s talent competition at age 15. Page’s then ‘budding’ career was ‘gas lit’ in 2018 when he was discovered by executive producers of American Idol while at a Tennessee songwriter showcase. Subsequently, he was invited to compete in the 2019 series and made it all the way to the Top 40 Finalists. Since then, Page has been touring from the Carolina’s coast to the big skies of Texas as well as sharing stages with a slew of A-List performing artists. In addition, he’s grown his own production talents by working alongside hit music producers like Dan Frizsell, Adam Shoenfeld and Trent Willmon, culminating in his most recent EP entitled ‘Southbound’. Like a tall pine found on the eroded banks of a Northeast Georgia lake, the sound of a soulful melody and overdriven twang will crash into Clay Page’s red-clay Georgia roots – blending the two into a memorable and refreshing ‘New Old School’ sound you will not be disappointed in!
