The Lunar New Year began in China more than 4,000 years ago and is widely observed in East and Southeast Asia. Over the years, the festivities have spread around the world. It is now celebrated by millions of people all over the United States, including here in Pittsburgh! OCA Pittsburgh is hosting its 34th Lunar New Year Banquet Gala, as well as celebrating our 50th anniversary of being an OCA chapter in the community! Featuring a traditional Chinese 12 course dinner with stunning cultural performances from our very own OCA Dance Ensemble and guest performances from Steel Dragon performing lion dance and professional martial arts and tai chi demonstrations from Win Win Kung Fu. Join us for this celebration of cuisine and culture, as we ring in the Year of the Rabbit!!
