We are excited to offer a unique event: Candles with a Twist! Come join us for a fun evening of making your own special candle creations. We will provide the supplies and guidance needed to craft a personalized candle, and you will leave with a special creation to enjoy or gift. Type of Candles: In this class we'll be making beautiful candles with a unique twist "Sand art candles". You'll get to choose your own colors and scents. Plus, we will provide plenty of tips and tricks to make sure you create your own one-of-a-kind masterpiece! The wax we will be using is made of a granulated texture which is a blend of 50% soy wax and 50% paraffin wax. That feels just like sand. What is awesome about these type of candles NO HEAT IS REQUIRED TO ADD COLOR AND FRAGRANCE TO THIS WAX. POUR AND SIP: Customize your candle by choosing from a varitey of fragrance oils , colors and label phrase that speaks to you. Our expert from S of S Candles will work with you through the process, wicking, selecting scents, pouring wax and to answer any questions you may have! Each candle pouring session takes 45-60 minutes. Food/Drinks:We will not be providing food/drinks due to the event being held @The Detroit Shipping Company . After finishing your candle you are more than welcome to grab a meal, a drink from Detroit Shipping Company. They have a great selection of food vendors , drinks , coffee and ice cream. Then swing back by to grab your candle ! NO OUTSIDE FOOD / DRINKS ARE ALLOWED AT THIS EVENT THIS CLASS INCLUDES: 16oz candle created by you. REFUNDS/ CANCELLATION: We get it, life happens. If you request a cancellation at least 24-48 hours before the time of the class, we'll allow you to use your reservation for another class ! If you are unable to find parking in-front of restaurant there is available parking to the Left side of the building with a fee ranging between $10-20 to park.
