We recently adopted this boy, and although he came from a household with pets, he is not tolerating our other pets (one cat and one small dog) or our young children varying in age from 2-12 years old. I do not think he has been around many young children in his life. He has not been neutered or microchipped yet, and I do not have any vet records for him unfortunately. The previous owner told me that he did have his initial vaccines as a kitten and we currently have an appointment to get him neutered and updated with vaccines on 2/10. He is truly a beautiful cat with the longest fluffiest tail I’ve ever seen, and we have had some positive interactions with him but sadly we just don’t feel like it’s the best fit for our family. He is very playful. I think he could probably be integrated into a home with bigger dogs (what he was used to previously), and possibly another cat, but probably not young children in my opinion. He is 9 months old…was born in April. He is on Iams Indoor/Hairball food and needs to continue it.
