Searching 4 Commune or off grid type life style

This is a crapshoot! I am looking for and hoping for a place I can go to live a peaceful, sustainable, permaculture lifestyle, possibly 'off-grid', in my converted short bus with my 2 little dogs. If I can find property to buy and call my own or work someone else's property that would be great! I am on disability, and I am very creative, as well as a survivor, so, I don't mind getting dirty. I am a grandmother too! For now, I'm thinking Colorado country somewhere, but I'm open to other states as well. I don't mind living with a group of people who are all equally participating in the group effort to co-habitate effectively, providing that none of us are controlled by drugs or alcohol or violence. Casual periodic use, if legal, is acceptable to me. I am a lacto-vegetarian, and I am not religious, however, I strive to be spiritually centered and don't push my beliefs or concepts on others. I can help care for farm animals or clean their living quarters, scoop their poop or exercise them. I have also been a certified nurse aid and caregiver combined for approximately 25+ years among other laborous jobs.... Thanx, Shawna
