I have a sun conure (who I believe to be a male) and he is a year old. I am rehoming him because my schedule is changing and I do not have time to interact with him much. He is friendly. I will be rehoming him to experienced bird owners only as he is high maintenance and is not for beginning bird owners. Sun conures are very vocal and they need a lot of stimulation, flying, a proper diet and interaction. His name is Mango. If I rehome Mango to you, please keep me updated on him. I love Mango, and I formed a bond with him before I took him home with me. He needs regular vet visits too and I need someone to know how to cut his nails and needs help with trimming his beak (he hates cuttlebone). I have a cage Mango is in, but I feel he needs a much bigger one to fly in if you choose to not allow him to free-roam. His wings are not clipped, and I will not rehome him to someone who plans on clipping his wings. He is friendly - however sometimes he likes to bite but its normal for him. Most of the time it's playful biting - or he will bite you if you touch a spot he hates. He enjoys cuddling and will lay with you and roll on his back. I want someone that has enough time on their hands, preferably someone who doesn't work a lot and is at least 25 years old - or works from home. His cage is separate, he has toys but I recommend getting newer ones because these are dull and some he's chewed up a lot. I have a bird carrier(backpack). I also have various different treats and I have millet which are also separate. His favorite treats are peanuts. If you're interested, please contact my number.
