Job Specifications: Job Title: Maintenance Tech II Duration: Permanent Full-Time (Not a contract role) Location: Riverside Office Complex- 32 Riverside Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32202 Hours: 2nd shift: Monday-Friday, 3-11pm, EST Salary Target: $25-26/hour plus 10% shift differential for all of second shift. Role trains with daytime team for 6+ weeks initially and that doesn’t include any differential pay. Send Resume to Prathyusha Gubba at [email protected] Maintenance Tech II Working independently under moderate supervision, performs planned and corrective maintenance on electrical, HVAC, mechanical, life safety, and plumbing systems. Operates industrial HVAC systems, including chillers, cooling towers, air handlers and pumps. Operates life safety systems, including fire alarm and suppression systems. Incumbents are not permitted to deviate from standard practices and procedures, but may be permitted to set priorities, subject to supervisory approval. Essential Functions • Perform preventive maintenance on building engineering systems. • Operate and repair HVAC, mechanical, life safety, electrical and plumbing systems. • Monitor vendor’s performance of major equipment systems maintenance. • Perform light carpentry work such as painting and sheet rock repairs. • Monitor and operate critical facilities equipment using Automated Building Management System. Must Have Skills: • 2+ years related work experience or equivalent combination of transferable experience and education. • Building systems (HVAC, electro-mechanical, etc.) maintenance and repair • Knowledge of chiller plant operations. • Knowledge of basic electrical operations and maintenance. • Experience working on a computer in a Windows environment • Must meet the requirements to be classified as a Regular and able to pass motor vehicle record check.
