Specialty Concrete Products, Inc., in Lithia Springs, is looking to fill a part-time general labor position with primary responsibilities in property and building maintenance. Regular duties include, but not limited to: Miscellaneous indoor/outdoor handyman projects (installation, maintenance, and repair) Take trash out to the dumpster Sweep and mop floors Clean restrooms and maintain restroom supplies Clean breakrooms and maintain breakroom supplies Clean windows Wipe down furniture and cabinets Replace HVAC filters Pressure washing Pickup trash and scraps on the property such as pallet wood, pallet straps, plastic, paper, etc. Run errands on company property Grounds maintenance, cut grass, trim grass, trim hedges, … Other general labor projects as assigned The hours are 8:00 AM-12:00 PM, Monday -Friday. Additional hours may be available occasionally for special projects. This is an industrial manufacturing environment much like a construction site. Conditions include hot in the summer, cold in the winter, muddy and wet when it rains, and dusty all the time. There is heavy equipment operating on the property, therefore, employees must wear provided safety gear such as hardhat and safety vest. Candidates must be able to regularly stand, walk, squat, climb, bend, and lift up to 50-lbs. Similar work experience is preferred. Specialty Concrete Products, Inc. is a drug and alcohol-free workplace. A selected candidate must first pass a drug test to be hired. All employees are subject to random drug testing. In order to be considered for this position, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.
