Apply at JWHI.com/application! We are looking for a reliable Handyman/Service Technician to work with our team and help delivery on homeowners' wants and needs. Our technicians usually work in two-person crews on a variety of handyman and home improvement projects. Our company is growing and we're only looking for the very best handyman talent. We're targeting any of the following skills -Framing -Flooring Repair and Installation -Drywall Repair & Patching -Tile Installation -Water Remediation -Sanding, Prepping, Priming, Painting walls (DC lead certified a plus) -Installing cabinets, windows, doors, & flooring -Vanities, toilets, and faucets (plumbing a plus) -Able to operate typical hand and power construction tools -Carpentry skills such as installing laminate, LVP, hardwood flooring -Gutter cleaning/repair/installation Qualifications: -3 to 5 years minimum experience preferred -Must be reliable -Strong communication skills -Great work ethic -Must follow all working safety guidelines -Ability to safely lift 60 pounds Requirements: -Must speak English -Must be willing to submit a background check -Good driving record with no at-fault accidents -Must have a valid driver’s license -Must own a work vehicle i.e. pickup truck or utility van preferred, as well as tools -Must be able to drive to various projects in Maryland, DC, and Virginia -Must be authorized to work in the United States as a W-2 Employee Working Days: Monday - Friday (Required) Saturday (Every other Saturday Required) Compensation: We have both "Lead" and "Assistant" technicians on our team, based on skills. Both roles start at a probationary rate with eligibility for a raise if hired as a permanent employee. Job Type: Full-time Salary: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
