The Atlas Group - WASI division is hiring Machinists with multiple shift openings in Wichita, KS. The Machinist is responsible for all aspects of set-up and operation of manual mills, lathes, and surface grinders. This position will get to work on a large variety of projects. Job Duties: • Uses measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and other gages to ensure conformance to specifications • Manufacture quality products on CNC machining centers • Ensure machines are maintained and operated correctly • Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment • Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures • Follows all safety and plant rules and regulations • Performs other duties as assigned Job Requirements: • Associates degree or Certification in Industrial Technology or related field preferred • 5+ years of industrial machining experience • 1+ years of experience working a lathe preferred • Ability to read and understand blueprints The Atlas Group - WASI division offers a robust company culture and benefits with opportunity for growth and stability.
