Local telecommunications company looking for a Network Cabling Technician. Operating since 2004, we primarily services: Schools, Hospitals, Retirement Homes, Commercial and Industrial facilities in the South East. We are a full service telecommunications company offering business phone systems from Avaya ; Voice, Video and Data Cabling including CAT6 and MM/SM Fiber; Phone and Internet services, Wi-Fi, CCTV, and Paging/Camera Systems.
Daily requirements:
* Assist head technician AND/OR Serve as Project Lead in cabling projects. Installation of CAT5e/6, Fiber, CCTV projects including: Keystone jacks 568B, faceplates, labeling and number plans, J-hooks, rack, patch panel, wire management, patch cords, switches. Access Points, etc.
*Our main focus is Wi-fi & CCTV:
* Would like to have candidates with a couple years experience in this field.
* valid driver's license/clean criminal record
* relevant experience; submit resume, experience in CAT5e/6 cabling and Fiber a plus
* Travel required.
* able to lift up to 50 lbs.
* climb ladders and navigate ceiling space. Most work is done in renovated offices with drop ceilings, warehouses, and Stadiums etc.
* operate lift for cabling jobs
* use hand tools such as drills, saws, etc.
* customer service skills a must, well dressed and presentable to our customers.
