Carpet Warehouse Tech 1
Responsibilities Include:
o Exhibit commitment to safety in all work practices
o Receiving and processing incoming and outgoing flooring products
o Sorting and placing materials in their correct locations (racks, shelves, or bins)
o Preparing and staging various flooring materials. Carpet, vinyl, plank, etc.
o Operating carpet/vinyl cutting machine
o Ensure materials are properly loaded and unloaded for delivery and installation
o Lifting of flooring materials at times with a weight of 50 pounds or greater and the use of a forklift
o Deliver or pick up materials to installers and customer sites
o Perform misc. other duties as assigned
o Minor on-site building maintenance
o Maintaining clean office area (kitchens & bathrooms included) and warehouse floor
Required Qualifications:
o Be able to lift 50lbs+
o Must pass a criminal background check
o High school or equivalent degree is required
o Reliable transportation to and from work
o Must be a US citizen or have Green Card
Preferred Qualifications, NOT REQUIRED:
o Previous warehouse experience
o Previous flooring experience
o Forklift experience
o Bilingual (Spanish/English)
o Valid Driver’s License
