Join us in the Pink Room at Mama D's in Wales, where you'll learn the basic stitches to embroider heart shapes. Then we will transform your creations into iron-on patches, which you will learn how to apply- either to the supplied nylon zipper case OR an item you have at home. (Feel free to BYO item, such as a denim jacket, tshirt, tote bag, etc., just know that these patches are created to permanently adhere to the item.) Feel free to arrive early to order your drink and settle in. This workshop will start promptly at 10am and run until 12pm. All supplies are yours to take home at the end of the class! This is a 2 hour workshop, depending on pace you may or may not create more than 1 patch but supplies and instructions are yours to keep, so you can continue easily on your own! Jaina has a degree in Apparel Design and is self-taught in Hand Embroidery. She'll demonstrate stitches & techniques for the group and work one-on-one as needed, sharing tips along the way. You can look forward to a stress-free & creative morning as you work with your hands & enjoy an intimate coffee shop atmosphere.
