Description

Zenith Performance and Wellness was created by runners, for runners. In this class, Dr Jenn Randall, DPT, OCS, CMPT, USATF-1 (and 2022 USATF Outdoor T&F Championship Participant!) and Dr Jesse Klein, DPT, OCS, CSCS, BRM (and consistently uninjured, above average runner) will take you through the most common things we see with runners that derail training plans and leave people disappointed, injured, and unable to make it to race day. We’ll also go through concrete actions you can take throughout the training plan to decrease this risk and increase the chances that you will enjoy the training ride and perform well on the big day. We will help you identify and address common areas of tightness, weakness, and training blunders- as well as help you come up with a few things specific to you that you can start right away. Zenith-PNW offers a range of services, from Rehab Physical Therapy to Performance PT, Recovery Sessions, Personal Training, and weekly small group Strength and Mobility Classes for Runners. Whether you are rehabbing from an existing injury, trying to prevent the next one, or working toward a new PR; we can help. Find more info at www.zenith-pnw.com. The next two workshops in the series will be focused on proper fueling for health and performance with registered dietitian Shira Evans (Feb. 6) and performance mindset with licensed psychologist Melissa Todd (Feb. 13). Register for Shira's talk at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/fuel-the-fire-nutrition-to-enhance-your-race-performance-and-health-tickets-518172968297. Registration coming soon for Melissa Todd's talk.
